Endorsing Sharon Berglund and Pat Campanaro for North Shore Health Board

I am happy to endorse Sharon Berglund and Pat Campanaro for the North Shore Health, Cook County Board of Directors during the 2026 elections.
I believe we need a change in leadership and different perspectives at the board table. I care deeply about our hospital and its future, and that includes advocating for the leadership I believe will serve it best.
What we need now is experience and vision. I believe Sharon and Pat bring both.
Sharon brings 40 years of experience at North Shore Health. That long connection to the hospital matters to me. She knows the institution from the perspective of someone who spent her career working there.
Pat brings experience as a large enterprise executive and small business consultant. I value that combination: understanding complex organizations while also understanding the practical challenges facing local businesses.
My support for them is about the future of our hospital. We need different perspectives at the board table and leadership that can draw on experience while looking ahead. That is what I believe Sharon and Pat can offer.
